Students will continue their block coding work, focusing on conditionals

  • We continued with the Code.org unit
  • The entire thing should be done by the end of the day Tuesday
  • We’ll have a unit test on Wednesday
  • Then we’ll start a more creative unit

APCSP:

Students will prove their knowledge of bits and binary

Algebra 2:

Students will continue solving systems of three equations

  • We had a little quiz:
  • Section 15-10 on Code.org
  • Make some sort of deliberate design
  • Use either the “make a square” or “make a triangle” function in your code
  • Create at least one more function for your code
  • I’ll grade these tomorrow

APCSP:

Students will use the Internet Simulator to send numbers and calculate bit size

  • We finished this activity
  • I gave some time to do the ACM TechNews assignment for this week
  • Test tomorrow

Students will use their knowledge of systems to do linear programming

  • We did a little on how to graph systems of inequalities by doing a few problems on page 202.
  • Then we transferred that knowledge to graphing feasible regions on page 209 #2-4.  We’ll get further into it tomorrow.
