  • We did a Macbeth Activity
  • Then people worked on SAT stuff and/or scholarship stuff

Algebra 2:

  • I showed everyone how to find all answers and non-answers in rational equations
  • Then we did a little SAT thing

Coding:

  • Anyone who didn’t do the Test yesterday did it today
  • Then we started the next unit: SCRATCH

  • We did a quick review
  • Then we took a quiz
  • Then we took some notes

Coding:

Students will prove their knowledge of basic block coding

  • We took a test
  • Then, if there was time, we started on the next unit

Students will finish Act 2 of Macbeth. Students will practice SAT-style essays.

  • We finished Act 2 of Macbeth
  • We took some notes
  • We finished the Act 2 Guided Reading
  • There will be a quiz tomorrow
  • We also did an SAT-style practice essay in Google Classroom

Algebra 2:

Students will review adding/subtracting rational functions

Coding:

Students will review basic block-coding functions

  • Everyone should be through the Code.org Accelerated Unit by the end of the day
  • If you’re done before that, check Google Classroom to see where to go next
  • We’ll have a Unit Test tomorrow
  • Then we’ll get into something a little more creative

Students will read Macbeth Act 2 Scene 2 and compare two different versions of the scene.

  • We did an SAT-prep assignment
  • Then we read Macbeth Act 2 Scene 2
  • Then we watched two different versions

Algebra 2:

Students will combine their knowledge of simplifying rational functions with their knowledge of adding fractions

Coding:

Students will get experience writing functions using existing code

  • Everyone should be through the Code.org Accelerated Unit by the end of the day tomorrow
  • If you’re done before that, check Google Classroom to see where to go next
  • We’ll have a Unit Test on Wednesday
  • Then we’ll get into something a little more creative

English 12:

Students will practice an SAT-style response essay with a focus on the thesis.

  • We finished the assignment from yesterday on Google Classroom
  • Everyone got a copy of the Act 2 Guided Reading
  • Then we read Act 2 Scene 1 of Macbeth

Algebra 2:

Students will simplify rational functions using addition/subtraction.

  • We did this Pun
  • We did #1-5 on this Pun for homework
  • We also did some SAT prep through Google Classroom

Coding:

Students will use simple Block-Coding to solve puzzles through Code.org

  • Everyone should be through Section 13 by the end of today.  If you’re not, you have homework (I’m grading Sections 1-13 this weekend)
  • If you’re done with everything, click here.  It’ll tell you what to do next.
  • I’m thinking everyone can be done with everything by the end of the hour on Tuesday.

Coding:

Students will continue the Beginner Block Coding Unit in Code.org, specifically focusing on conditionals

  • Everyone should be through Section 13 by the end of class tomorrow

  • Then we did Pg. 580 #18-26
  • There will be a quiz tomorrow

Coding:

Students will continue block coding (specifically, learning conditionals)

  • Everyone should be through Section 5 of the Code.org Accelerated Course
  • I’m hoping we can get through Section 13 today
