### Algebra 2:

Students will practice polynomial operations and solving for zeroes.

### English 12:

Students will transfer their essays to an oral format

• Everyone got a copy of the Speech Rubric
• Everyone got their Essays back
• We then did the Speech Outline on Google Classroom (Two copies are due tomorrow at the end of class)
• And we worked on any Speech Extra Credit (any visual will help the grade)
• And we worked on the Action Step Write-Up (due Wednesday)
• And we worked on the Reflection Step Write-Up (due on Final Exam day)
• And we worked on the Essay Fixes (due on Final Exam day)

Students will practice more with synthetic division in order to find the zeroes of a polynomial equation

### English 12:

Students will write a speech based on their Research Paper

• I talked a bit about good/bad speeches
• We started the Speech Outline (due Tuesday at the end of class – two copies)
• You should be prepared for the speech on Wednesday – you might be called at random
• If you’re done, you may want to finish the Action Step write-up (due Wednesday)

### Algebra 2:

Students will use their knowledge of arithmetic long division in order to practice polynomial long division.

### English 12:

Students will use suggestions from the Peer Edit stage to revise their Rough Drafts

• We worked on the Final Draft
• I checked everyone’s peer edits
• The printed copy of the Final Draft is due Thursday!

November 6, 2017

### Algebra 2:

Students will distinguish between the rules of adding and multiplying polynomials.

### English 12:

Students will grade their own essay and someone else’s essay according to the rubric in order to become more familiar with their own paper and the grading process.

• Everyone who was done with their Rough Draft was able to do the Peer Review on Google Classroom
• If anyone didn’t have the Rough Draft done, time was instead spent finishing that
• Tomorrow we’re starting the Final Draft
