Assignments 9/29

September 29, 2017

Algebra 2:

Students will finish up solving/graphing absolute value inequalities.  We will then review writing equations given a graph.

English 12:

Students will use their real-world talents in order to create a unique project regarding the Holocaust / Night

  • We went over some things with the Night Essay (spacing, font, etc.), which is due today via Google Classroom
  • If that got done, we worked on the Holocaust Project (due 10/9)

Assignments 9/28

September 28, 2017

Algebra 2:

Students will connect their knowledge of graphing and solving linear equations to linear inequalities.

  • We finished up the worksheet from yesterday
  • Then we did some more practice on solving absolute value inequalities
  • Test soon

English 12:

Students will use their real-world talents in order to create a unique project regarding the Holocaust / Night

  • I talked about the importance of time management
  • I invited everyone to share their essays with me if they’d like some advice before Friday
  • We worked on the Night Essay (due tomorrow) and the Holocaust Project (due 10/9)

Assignments 9/27

September 27, 2017

Algebra 2:

In order to graph absolute value inequalities on an x/y plane (and then using this graph to solve), students will combine what they know about solving absolute value inequalities algebraically with graphing absolute value equations

English 12:

Students will use their real-world talents in order to create a unique project regarding the Holocaust / Night

  • I talked about how much this project affects grades
  • I invited everyone to share their essays with me if they’d like some advice before Friday
  • We worked on the Night Essay (due Friday) and the Holocaust Project(due 10/9)

Assignments 9/26
