• We then finished this worksheet from yesterday
• Then we took some notes

In order to understand the context of Night, students need to know some background.

• I talked about the Google Classroom Activities that are expected (access code t3tqlg)
• We also had a journal entry: Compare your book to something in real life (the plot vs. current events, characters in the book vs. your family, etc.)

• We continued the Speeches
• Everyone got a copy of the Final Exam Review.  It’s due Monday.  It’s not an assignment, but I will give you credit if you do it.

### Algebra 2:

Students will prove what they know about the polynomial standards of Algebra 2

• After a quick review, we took the Polynomial Unit Test
• Once everyone was done with that, we started to review for the Final Exam (on Friday)

### English 12:

Students will write a speech based on their Research Paper

• We finished the Speech Outline; two copies were printed, one for me and one for you
• You should be prepared for the speech on tomorrow- you might be called at random
• If you’re done, you may want to finish the Action Step write-up (due tomorrow)
