Students will read independently

  • I talked about the Google Classroom Activities that are expected (access code t3tqlg)
  • We then read
  • We also had a journal entry: Compare your book to something in real life (the plot vs. current events, characters in the book vs. your family, etc.)

English 12:

  • I had a little speech about classroom expectations and the differences between trimester 1 and trimester 2
  • Everyone got a syllabus
  • Everyone signed up to Google Classroom (access code 9kg1pxg)
  • Everyone did the Anticipatory Activity (part 1)
  • We started some note taking.

  • I had a little speech about classroom expectations (everyone took notes)

  • Homework: bring your book tomorrow, bring a notebook to be left in here
